    Tobin J. Wagstaff Sr. is a musician, music educator, business consultant, and entrepreneur.  He founded Studio Percussion Music and Dance Center, a 501c3 charitable non-profit music school, in 2002 in Gainesville, FL, where it has helped thousands of people pursue arts education and activities, as well as brought in internationally acclaimed percussion clinicians, including Rich Redmond (The Jason Aldean Band), Stanton Moore (Galactic), Casey Grillo (Queensryche), and Shawn Drover (Megadeth).  Tobin Wagstaff, and Studio Percussion Music and Dance Center, were the subject of the TV show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Season 7, Episode 17 in 2010 featuring Ty Pennington and the band KISS.   

     Tobin is also the founder of StudyPercussion.com which is an Online Distance Learning program in percussion accessible internationally in collaboration with expert percussionists in all genres and levels. Besides these activities and performing in various music ensembles, Tobin is involved in business consulting for area businesses and other non-profit organizations.
     He holds a Bachelors with a major in Music and a minor in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences (University of Florida, 2003) and a Master of Music Education (University of Florida, 2018).  Tobin is active in area private and public schools at all grade levels and area after-school programs and other non-profit organizations.  He resides in Gainesville, FL, with his four children and four dogs, and enjoys water-sports and traveling.        He is also involved in Men’s Groups and mentoring programs.
