Mike Johnson Beginning Guitar and Voice

 

Mike is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Gainesville, Florida with his family in 1981. With a life long talent and passion for music, Mike began his professional career in 1994. Mike had great success for over 10 years with his band 7 Miles Out playing the southeastern United States and large venues in New York City. In 2004, Mike embarked on a new musical venture as lead singer and rhythm guitarist for The Aunt Jackie Band which currently plays a wide variety of venues in North Central Florida. In addition to the band ventures, Mike is a well established solo acoustic artist that plays a wide variety of genres in and around the North Central Florida area. Mike is excited to expand his career and start a new chapter. Beginning mid April 2016 he will begin teaching Vocal and Beginner Guitar Lessons for Studio Percussion, Inc in Gainesville, Florida.
