This project stems out a need to provide schools with access to contemporary computing technology to be used to enhance music education. We have chosen a limited number of programs we what to support in our initial calling of support.
Studio Percussion is a 501c3 non-profit music school founded in 2002 in Gainesville, Florida. We were featured on Extreme Makeover Home Edition in 2010. Learn more at studiopercussion.org.
We are asking for support in the following ways:

Donate your old iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks to our technology drive. We will put them in the care of a select few band programs, after school programs, and other non-profit music schools to be used and create programming for students who would not normally have access to these technologies.

If you would like to donate money, that will help us with other associated costs we need to cover to make this happen. This will also help us purchase other equipment we may need along the way.

We expect that we will likely end up with a surplus of things which will help us add other schools and programs to this drive.
We are not looking for the latest models of things though they are welcome of course! People have old devices that aren't being used we can put in the hands of students. We will be installing applications related to music education, tuners, recording, and more that will help students with their music education.
