Studio Percussion, Inc. is administrated by an Executive Director, a few part-time instructors, student leaders, and volunteers. Greater involvement of individual members allows us the opportunity to keep tuition and expenses minimal.
Tobin J. Wagstaff Sr., Executive DirectorTobin is the founder and President of Studio Percussion, Inc. He has worked in many diverse environments as a student, performer, and educator. He has received awards for his leadership and musicianship through various organizations and ensembles including: solo performance, orchestras, percussion ensembles, steel drum bands, rock & pop bands, symphonic bands, marching bands, jazz bands, church music, and Christian music. Tobin received a Bachelor of Music and a minor in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida.

Megan Norman — Piano Instructor
Megan Norman is originally from Sherman, Texas and has been studying piano since the age of six. She has over ten years experience as professional accompanist, collaborative instrumentalist, solo pianist, vocalist and songwriter. Ms. Norman attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN where she majored in Music with an emphasis in Piano Performance. She was also a student conductor for the Rhodes Orchestra, Rhodes Singers, and Rhodes Master Singers, as well as a Rhodes College Fine Arts Scholar. Ms. Norman graduated from Rhodes in May of 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. In addition to her musical endeavors at Rhodes, she was a member of Chi Omega and a co-founding member of the Rhodes College Women’s Center. After graduation, Ms. Norman returned for her second year to the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival in Vail, CO as a Marketing & Production Assistant Intern and to Music From Angel Fire in Angel Fire, NM as Production Manager. Ms. Norman recently moved to Florida where she will continue working and studying in the field of music, combining her passion for promoting music education with solo and collaborative performance.

Tom Hurst— Percussion Instructor

Tom Hurst is a versatile musician/educator/salesman, equally comfortable performing on drumset and percussion in a variety of musical styles, teaching with percussion groups (or in a private lesson setting), and selling/supporting music manufacturers with independent and chain retailers. With an extensive history as both a sideman for various regional and national popular acts, such as Jive recording artists the Backstreet Boys and MCA/Universal recording artists Sister Hazel, and as an educator of hundreds of students Tom is comfortable traveling extensively. He has toured the country playing festivals, theatres, and clubs and teaching drums and percussion to all age groups, in addition to servicing the numerous retail accounts in his territory.

Voice Instructor, Danielle DeCosmo
Danielle came from a big Italian family where singing is second nature. She doesn't remember starting to sing as she sang with her parents as far back as she remembers anything. Danielle began performing professionally with Entertainment Revue at Busch Gardens, Tampa, at 11 years old. She remained with the Revue until she graduated from High School and went to UF. There, Danielle sang with No Southern Accent, an a cappella troupe and traveled to various college competitions, performing solos and winning "Best Arrangement" (2005) for the south United States. Since graduating from UF, she has taught for Santa Fe Community College and sang with several bands.
